General Description
Companies and organizations face two major challenges today. One is digitalization, and the other is sustainability. It is not only ideological reasons that drive action from companies, but also economic urgency. The political environment and the market demand the management of social and environmental impact as much as economic performance.
Since the EU enforced the new Corporate Social Responsibility directive, large companies are now legally required to address their impact on society. New audiences demand that companies be sustainable and ethical, investors increasingly value responsible companies, and finally, the companies themselves can gain several management-related benefits.
This course is designed to provide the knowledge, tools, and skills necessary to face this change and to prepare the organization to begin its journey toward sustainability.
At the end of the course and after successfully passing the final assignment you will be receiving a certificate of proficiency and a certificate for contribution of planint trees.

Objectives and Outcomes
The course objectives are to build knowledge about corporate social responsibility and sustainability. Above all, the course encompasses various ways to manage sustainability, both for internal improvements and external advancements.
Additionally, participants will learn about sustainability measurement. They will become familiar with the most current systems, such as the Global Reporting Initiative, ISO 26000, Triple Bottom Line, UN Global Compact, and the Economy for the Common Good. After learning about different certifications and audits, participants will be able to distinguish cases of greenwashing from genuinely sustainable and ethical cases. In this way, participants also learn how to create an authentically sustainable and ethical organization.
As a result of all this work, the final project will include a practical workshop tailored to the real needs of the company. Throughout the course, partial and complete exercises will be conducted on each concept or issue discussed.
